Climategate impacting Copengate

Copenhagen Criminals

The enfolding drama of Climategate – including final confirmation that Global Warming alarmism is based on manipulated data is now impacting Copengate – and removing the validity of what was already a shaky premise for massive green profiteering. However the green Chardonnay and latte set still insist of jet setting into Copenhagen, hypocritically creating massive carbon footprints – to discuss how they will rule the new green world with their policies based on what is now exposed simply and publicly as fraud. That this junket that is mostly paid for by our Governments, which means paid for by our taxes is still going ahead – is a travesty. Its a travesty of justice that none of Copengate has been canceled. History will look back and say that was the time the self imposed green elitists finally drained the coffers of governments, finished off the gravy train to achieve – nothing, well except a push for world governance and removal of democratic freedoms. I wonder what the courts will say?

The world can ill afford to waste more money on what is simply a fraudulent alarmist scam when money is needed on much more pressing issues – like the real environment!

Bjorn Lomborg has made that point for over 20 years. Spending billions on this non issue is condemning millions of people to more amd more poverty and disease. The greens truly have blood on their hands….

“Bjorn Lomborg argues that many of the elaborate and expensive actions now being considered to stop global warming will cost hundreds of billions of dollars, are often based on emotional rather than strictly scientific assumptions, and may very well have little impact on the world’s temperature for hundreds of years. Rather than starting with the most radical procedures, Lomborg argues that we should first focus our resources on more immediate concerns, such as fighting malaria and HIV/AIDS and assuring and maintaining a safe, fresh water supply-which can be addressed at a fraction of the cost and save millions of lives within our lifetime…”

Agreed totally – this squandering of huge resources on non problems has acted to the direct detriment of many other much more worthwhile and scientifically verifiable causes.

  3. TonyfromOz says:

Who else is worried that some of the main images that we will see coming out of Copenhagen will be the rioting from the usual suspects who riot at the G8 conferences, and that the MSM will be concentrating on these ‘rent a crowds’ rioting for what they perceive the future of the Planet. Just another convenient excuse for thugs to organise in a rioting crowd to bash heads, and using this as an excuse.
    Just watch.
I know it’s probably alarmist to say this now before the event, but I can’t help thinking it’s just going to happen.

  4. Bev Huff says:

I couldn’t agree more. While people are starving and living on the streets of all our cities, our government is once again wasting millions of dollars on a non-issue because the people in power believed flawed science.
I wonder how their going to explain the truth?

  5. twawki says:

Yeah its abject stupidity the squandering of money Bev and yeah rent a crowd seems to turn up to all the green events Tony. I noticed on the 350 demonstration this year hardly anyone arrived. The MSM is busy making out the populace supports the green movement – the start reality is I dont think anyone does!

“Climategate” started out when there appeared on the Internet a collection of e-mails of a group of climatologists who work in the University of East Anglia in England. These documents reveal that some climatologists of international preeminence have manipulated the data of their investigations and have strongly tried to discredit climatologists who are not convinced that the increasing quantities of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere are the cause of global warming.

It is true that a majority of the scientists who study climatic tendencies in our atmosphere have arrived at the conclusion that the world’s climate is changing, and they have convinced a group of politicians, some of whom are politically powerful, of the truth of their conclusions.

A minority, however, is skeptical. Some believe that recent data that suggest that the average temperature of the atmosphere is going up can be explained by natural variations in solar radiation and that global warming is a temporary phenomenon. Others believe that the historical evidence indicating that the temperature of the atmosphere is going up at a dangerous rate is simply not reliable.

Such lacks of agreement are common in the sciences. They are reduced and eventually eliminated with the accumulation of new evidence and of more refined theories or even by completely new ones. Such debates can persist for a period of decades. Academics often throw invective at one another in these debates. But typically this does not mean much.

But the case of climate change is different. If the evidence indicates that global warming is progressive, is caused principally by our industrial processes, and will probably cause disastrous changes in our atmosphere before the end of the twenty-first century, then we do not have the time to verify precisely if this evidence is reliable. Such a process would be a question of many years of new investigations. And if the alarmist climatologists are right, such a delay would be tragic for all humanity.

The difficulty is that economic and climatologic systems are very complicated. They are not like celestial mechanics, which involves only the interaction of gravity and centrifugal force, and efforts to construct computerized models to describe these complicated systems simply cannot include all the factors that are influential in the evolution of these complicated systems.

All this does not necessarily indicate that the alarmist climatologists are not right. But it really means that if global warming is occurring, we cannot know exactly what will be the average temperature of our atmosphere in the year 2100 and what will be the average sea level of the world’s ocean in that year.

It also means that we cannot be confident that efforts by the industrialized countries to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere will have a significant influence on the evolution of the world’s climate.

Alas, the reduction of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere would be very costly and would greatly change the lives of all the inhabitants of our planet–with the possibility (perhaps even the probability!) that all these efforts will be completely useless.

We fight not to enslave, but to set a country free, and to make room upon the earth for honest men to live in. Thomas Paine

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. RONALD REAGAN,
My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular. Adlai E. Stevenson Jr
If you want to be free, there is but one way; it is to guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. There is no other. Carl Schurz
The First Amendment is often inconvenient. But that is besides the point. Inconvenience does not absolve the government of its obligation to tolerate speech. Justice Anthony Kennedy
Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one’s own person is its ultimate reward. Patricia Sampson
Many politicians are in the habit of laying it down as a self-evident proposition that no people ought to be free till they are fit to use their freedom. The maxim is worthy of the fool in the old story who resolved not to go into the water till he had learned to swim. Thomas Macaulay
The law will never make men free, it is men that have to make the law free. Henry David Thoreau
If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter. George Washington
