The world as we know it

Climate realists have nature on side

Climate realists, those who believe in the real world and not faulty climate models seem to be expanding their ranks as previously alarmist scientists start to speak out about the dangers of the coming cold. The examiner reports here;

But several well-known scientists – adherents of the anthropogenic global warming (AGW) theory – are dismissing, at least in the near term, dire predictions of soaring global temperatures.

It seems many are watching – not CO2 – but the behaviour of the sun. The sun (that ball of fire a million times the size of the earth) has been and will always be the main climate driver on the planet we call earth.

Recent monitoring of solar activity shows that sunspots have declined both in numbers and strength

With that comes cooling, cooling which is much more devastating for humanity than warming!

“The next Little Ice Age would be much worse than the previous one and much more harmful than anything warming may do,” Chapman says. “It is time to put aside the global warming dogma, at least to begin contingency planning . . . .”

As the saying goes – those who fail to plan, plan to fail! Failure will be the legacy of global warming alarmism – especially as the cooling deepens.

    There might be global warming or cooling but the important issue is whether we, as a human race, can do anything about it.

    There are a host of porkies and not very much truth barraging us everyday so its difficult to know what to believe.

    I think I have simplified the issue in an entertaining way on my blog which includes some issues connected with climategate and “embarrassing” evidence.

    In the pipeline is an analysis of the economic effects of the proposed emission reductions. Watch this space or should I say Blog

    PS The term “porky” is listed in the Australian Dictionary of Slang.( So I’m told.)
