Rudds $250 million gift to the MSM

Seems like the television networks got a very very nice present;

THE $250 million handout from the Rudd government to Australia’s television oligarchy will flow almost directly to the profits of the networks’ owners because there are no conditions that it be used for local content.

Unconditional and all. What do people think of their taxes being used to fund Rudd’s popularity with the media?

Guess it all starts to fit.

    I’m appalled by Rudd and Stephen Conroy’s $250mil give away to his billionaire skiing buddy. Just like everything else Conroy touches, its ill thought out, against public opinion and against even basic common sense. When is election day?

What do you think?
