The world as we know it

A quick teaser

Fascinating – opening night reviews in the press on Phil Jones – more here over at Climate Audit here

Quote; “Which made it all the more astonishing that it turns out that the unit has only three full-time members. Given the importance they claim, it’s as if the British army consisted of half a dozen men and an officer”.

Over at NASA seems the wheels are falling off there as well – oh dear!

Quote “In fact, further corrections revealed by the emails indicate that U.S. temperatures on average had only increased by 0.5 degree Celsius since 1934, rather than 1 degree, as originally claimed”.

And another blizzard of lies from Al Bore over at Climategate

Quote; “Gore surfaced from the global warming witness-protection program to opine that despite admissions of error and evidence of fraud by various agencies, we still face “an unimaginable calamity requiring large-scale, preventive measures to protect human civilization as we know it.”

And in Australia the Bureau of Meteorology continue to be exposed as a failure when it comes to predictions;

Quote; I am at a loss to understand how a well funded org of professionals can repeatedly get these Outlooks so wrong. Obviously the models they use are not worth a cup full of warm spit. Australia pays for better and deserves better.

And the Australian Labor Party following on the heals of their incompetence, mismanagement and squandering of our finances want to destroy yet another area – health. Their egotistical insistent of fixing breaking things seems to continue and the current litany of failures and debacles are not enough!

Quote; The Federal Government could not run a home insulation program. Do you think it can run every hospital and hospital department in the country?

They will say: “We will recruit people who have experience in hospital management. They will run the services properly.” Which people? The people now running the health system for state governments. The same people running the same hospitals will report to Canberra rather than the state capitals.

Do you think this will make the hospitals run better? Do you think the federal minister will take responsibility for any failures in the health system? About as much responsibility as Garrett takes for the insulation system

“How would it be having someone like (Environment Minister) Peter Garrett being in charge of your mum when she goes to hospital?”

How governments and business profit from scares and how crying wolf means no one listens to you!

Common thread in all the above – green, left leaning politics – this is the legacy they leave us with!

The early feedback from the UK Parliaments ‘Inquisition’ into Phil Jone’s devious & questionable activities sounds encouraging but will it result in his dismissal or just a mild slap over the wrist ?

Sadly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up another ‘white wash’ as has so far been the case with Michael Mann over at Pen n State in the US!

Someone needs to lose his job & go to jail – then we might the MSM and the public to stand up and take notice !

Great stuff. Enjoy your rest…well, I guess it’s not really rest if you’re working. Hmmmm.

    Embrace the toil! How’s that?

Lol I am addicted and then keep reading things n think this needs to be discussed lol But no not rest just diverting energy from one activity to another.

Then seeing this government constantly spend our money like they are a child in a lolly store infuriates me grrrrrr – back to work!

. . ] URL article original: http://twawki.com/2010/03/02/a-quick-teaser/ […]

We fight not to enslave, but to set a country free, and to make room upon the earth for honest men to live in. Thomas Paine

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. RONALD REAGAN,
My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular. Adlai E. Stevenson Jr
If you want to be free, there is but one way; it is to guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. There is no other. Carl Schurz
The First Amendment is often inconvenient. But that is besides the point. Inconvenience does not absolve the government of its obligation to tolerate speech. Justice Anthony Kennedy
Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one’s own person is its ultimate reward. Patricia Sampson
Many politicians are in the habit of laying it down as a self-evident proposition that no people ought to be free till they are fit to use their freedom. The maxim is worthy of the fool in the old story who resolved not to go into the water till he had learned to swim. Thomas Macaulay
The law will never make men free, it is men that have to make the law free. Henry David Thoreau
If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter. George Washington
