Anti-corruption is a bureaucracy in itself!

Seems like big government is on the march! How many departments do we need to make sure the government is doing its job? Maybe we have too much government which means too much corruption and too many watchdogs – wouldn’t it be simply to just rely on the law and the courts rather than government assessing ITSELF!

Attorney General’s Department
The Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department provides support to the Government in the maintenance and improvement of Australia’s system of law and justice and its national security and emergency management systems.

Audit Office of NSW
Assists the Auditor-General in conducting audits and related services. As well as conducting financial, compliance and performance audits, the Audit Office examines allegations of serious and substantial waste of public money under the Protected Disclosures Act 1994.
