The world as we know it

The rise of the GGO

The rise of the GGO (Global Governance Organisation).

In a paper by Jonathon Koppell, entitled  explaining the Organisation design of global rule making institutions (precis here) he divides them into sector, technicality and rule type – reinforcing the view that these GGOs are about global governance and global policing.

From Global Warming and the first amendment we hear reason “our best protection against erosion of economic freedom is to have a powerful business force to offset government” but the problem is becoming if the GGO runs the business lobby there where are the checks and balances. This is the whole issue with global governance is there is NO opposition and NO democratic rights and no opposition to effect change.

The UN seems intent on creating as many GGOs as necessary to expand their grip on power. In recent posts we’ve started to have a look at; UNIPCC – Copenhagen new global governance structure to oversee greenhouse gasses, PRI and how they aim to take control of the finance industry, REDD etc The ultimate aim of these GGOs is to usurp our national and sovereign powers.

Don’t forget our nations are called State members

Report of the Commission on Global Governance (first published 1996)

excerpt as follows;

The UN Commission on Global Governance has released its recommendations in preparation for a World Conference on Global Governance, scheduled for 1998, at which official world governance treaties are expected to be adopted for implementation by the year 2000. Among those recommendations are specific proposals to expand the authority of the United Nations to provide:

  • Global taxation;
  • A standing UN army;
  • An Economic Security Council;
  • UN authority over the global commons;
  • An end to the veto power of permanent members of the Security Council;
  • A new parliamentary body of “civil society” representatives (NGOs);
  • A new “Petitions Council“;
  • A new Court of Criminal Justice; (Accomplished in July, 1998 in Rome)
  • Binding verdicts of the International Court of Justice;
  • Expanded authority for the Secretary General.

These proposals reflect the work of dozens of different agencies and commissions over several years, but are now being advanced by the Commission on Global Governance in its report entitled Our Global Neighborhood (Oxford University Press, 1995, ISBN 0-19-827998-3, 410pp).

    Oh boy these guys just keep getting scarrier and scarrier. And the sad thing is, the majority of people don’t know and don’t seem to care as long as what is going on is in someone else’s back yard.

      Oh they keep marching ahead and doing what they want – that they don’t tell the people or consult the people is the crime. There is no democracy any longer they just want us to believe there is.

      When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

    WARNING WARNING, the smoke screen is up of the Rudd ship Titanic. With an upcoming election he has crafted a smokescreen using a “Hospital takeover” plan. This has sent the media into a frenzy quietly hiding the fact that Carbon credits and Internet filtering are still smouldering like the rotten garbage it is in the background. If he wins the election he will dismiss the hospital stuff, blame it on the opposition then get back on track with his Carbon credit scheme, this ensuring that will make billions of dollars at the expense of the average citizen.

    Does this look familiar?
    “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
    For the traitor appears not traitor, he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.” – Cicero, 42 B.C

      Ron – very much aqreed – also the ETS is quietly being implemented already. Check your water and electricity bills – the environmental levies are on there already.

      All the ETS is is a way to redirect our money into their causes – it has little if anything to do with the environment.

      Agreed the hospital is a smokescreen – however I think K Rudd’s days are numbered and don’t think he will last till the next election. He is going down quickly and they will need to replace him soon if they are to replace him at all otherwise it will be too close to have a new leader before the election.

      • Ron Woomera says:

        Yep ~ on my power bill, I have for quite a while now, been paying for greenhouse gases “THAT I PRODUCE” by using electric power that I purchase from the power company, I have researched that and as far as I can find out NONE OF THAT “TAX” has gone into research or any other method of reducing THEIR discharge, say what??????.
        I sure hope you are right and Rudd goes down fast NOW along with a number of his criminal cohorts.

    EDIT: the line where it says “this ensuring that will make billions of dollars” should read “this ensuring that “BIG COMPANY NAME HERE” will make billions of dollars.

What do you think?

We fight not to enslave, but to set a country free, and to make room upon the earth for honest men to live in. Thomas Paine

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. RONALD REAGAN,
My definition of a free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular. Adlai E. Stevenson Jr
If you want to be free, there is but one way; it is to guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. There is no other. Carl Schurz
The First Amendment is often inconvenient. But that is besides the point. Inconvenience does not absolve the government of its obligation to tolerate speech. Justice Anthony Kennedy
Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one’s own person is its ultimate reward. Patricia Sampson
Many politicians are in the habit of laying it down as a self-evident proposition that no people ought to be free till they are fit to use their freedom. The maxim is worthy of the fool in the old story who resolved not to go into the water till he had learned to swim. Thomas Macaulay
The law will never make men free, it is men that have to make the law free. Henry David Thoreau
If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter. George Washington
