As the climate cools here we stand on the edge of an abyss, Labor is going into overdrive to try and force the fraudulent, deceptive and punitive ETS through by any means possible on Monday, Malcolm Turnbull of the Liberals trying as hard as he can to assist them but losing his party support in the process,  Joe Hockey – Malcolm’s protege saying if not Malcolm then pick me I promise I wont say the things he does, and Tony Abbott speaking out clearly about the lie of climate alarmism but being reticent in acting like he wants to be a leader. Meanwhile labor party skeptical senators remaining abusively silent over climate change. Makes for interesting days.

Politicians all over Australia are reporting that constituents have gone into overdrive on this issue – bombarding their phone lines, emails, etc as to their opposition of the appalling ETS. Online comment has also gone through the stratosphere. The MS media continue to try and manipulate public perception through censoring debate, censoring opinion and censoring actual events to make it look like we are not as opposed as we really are.

But where are our leaders? Where are those who head the churches warning their faithful of the consequences of this bill and Copenhagen, or the leaders of the intellectual societies, or leaders of the Universities – oops I’d forgotten they have been hijacked by leftist greenies oblivious to the environment while pushing a socialist agenda. When your leaders don’t support you then its time for the people to stand up and speak out and say NO to ETS, NO to Copenhagen.

Politics; Alan Jones talks with Tony Abbott and they make the point that Labor also is running scared from the populace and the huge backlash over the ETS policy – listen here Joanne Nova talks about the changing climate of the liberal party and how senators are dumping support for the ETS. Senator Fierravanti-Wells – a previous supporter of the ETS says; In all my years of involvement in the party, I have never seen such an extraordinary reaction,’ In America CCF reports the “director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Dr. John P. Holdren, is a key player in the Climategate e-mails

The 10th most cited author in the world on climate change has said “The I.P.C.C. itself, through its structural tendency to politicize climate change science, has perhaps helped to foster a more authoritarian and exclusive form of knowledge production”.

Media; Andrew Bolt talks about how the ABC continues to be in collusion with the government over the AGW issue  censoring debate and aggressively attacking skeptics. I finally received a response from the Australian Press Council – update here over my complaint over Fairfax newspapers biased reporting basically saying Fairfax can print what they want and I can either write letters to them or read news from other outlets! Revealing its abject stupidity The Times says that science should have no bearing on climate legislation. Google Climategate hits 11,400,000 – MSM looking very censored.

BBC says ““The BBC has held a high-level seminar with some of the best scientific experts, and has come to the view that the weight of evidence no longer justifies equal space being given to the opponents of the consensus.”

Science; Scientists who have been silenced by CRU start to speak out here about the treatment and opposition they received Air Vent comments here. Calls for scientists from the IPCC to be sacked. A general theory of natural climate variation here. UK astrophysicist Piers Corbyn says “The case is blown to smithereens and this whole theory should be destroyed and discarded and Copenhagen conference should be closed,” more here. The nepotism of the climate communism continues to get exposed. More climate nepotism here, here, here, here

Climate; US breaks or ties 218 November snow fall records,

At least you guys are speaking out, even on the political scene. Ours are mostly complicit or silent. Here in Milquetoast Canader, our reigning monarchs are “waiting for Obambi”, before making up our policy, while the MSM are for the most part AWOL on the subject. Even the taxpayer funded CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corp) has yet to remark on the subject after a week of blogosphere activity. However, cracks may be appearing: a Youtube spot shows a French language reporter holding up a sign for the cmaera saying: “Climategate, report it CBC”. I think he will be fired.

    It’s a start: http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/

Yeah its hard work here at the moment but important work. We are getting momentum and need to keep it up, get the ETS finally defeated, not sign Copenhagen and then keep auditing the science as well as prepare for potentially deep cooling.

In Canada you guys are in the direct firing line if the sun continues to slumber an we get serious cooling. For this reason the environment is your greatest ally disproving the alarmists. Ive started writing to my government, media etc asking them what contingencies they have for global cooling – it would be even more pertinent there.

The MSM is killing itself by losing its credibility – whereas journalists used to have freedom of speech now it is about vested interests. That’s why the future is the blogosphere – much more independent.

Have added your site to my links 🙂 I believe by networking together we become an ever greater force.

It’s not my site, but one I frequent. The post was linked and I have to admit it isn’t the media guy, but someone else standing behind him with the sign! LOL! I’m hampered by a satellite connection which is very slow relative to high speed, as I am in a remote area. It takes a while to download stuff. The lady who hosts the blogsite is located in our next door province Saskatchewan a few hundred km east of me and has been right on top of this issue and on most other top news files in Canada, for several years. “SDA get’s results” on some important breaking news items.

Our MSM, especially the “state news” outlet, CBC had a show devoted to the new carbon trading market this evening, presented as if the CRU “leak” didn’t even exist. It was painful to watch. Taxpayers fund this institution but what we get for our buck is, well the AGW mantra and the PC point of view.

As for our weather, well where I am it is winter, lots of snow which strangely is “normal” for this time of year! I’m located right now a short drive to the start of the ALASKA Highway, so we’re pretty far north.

I’ve always wondered why anyone living here in Canada would object to a warmer climate, or a longer growing season from the one we usually have. I’d like to put that question to an AGW “scientist” but all I’d get would be sob stories of rising sea levels blah, blah, blah. I’m at 825 m ASL so it wouldn’t be an issue! it wouldn’t be an issue for most of this country except the east coast and a narrow fringe of the west coast. the last thing we need would be a cooling period like the Russians have stated may be upon us.

Keep up the fight, there are others here doing the same thing.

It is imperative that writers of ALL scientific papers make all data and calculations pubilicly available to enable unfettered review. Computer programs constitute part of the calculation process

  5. Please keep up the good work, people. The mainstream media are either corrupt or too stupid to see through this climate con. A full and thorough reading of those leaked CRU emails proves there came a stage when it was decided a data “fudge” was required. We know that Professor Jones admits that, “ it’s a travesty its stopped warming” in response to a colleague’s admission that “it hasn’t warmed for ten years.”

We won’t know how much of a “fudge” actually occurred and how corrupted Jones and his team made the data until we see a full response to those subpoenas issued in the US against NASA. We certainly need answers to what algorithms were tried and then found wanting. We need to ask questions like, when did the data-culling start and finish? What criteria determined that certain proxy samples were unreliable? If it transpires that samples were omitted for no other reason than that they didn’t confirm the hypothesis then we have proof of malfeasance and what has been manufactured for 13 years is not science but ideological propaganda.
At the moment, the biggest problem for man made warming advocates is that they haven’t shown us the raw data and the methods they used to produce their ‘Hockey Sticks’. The emails uncovered recently indicate that their response to Freedom of Information requests was to delete them rather than reveal them. If you don’t show your observed data, and all the algorithms (including computer code) used to produce your charts and graphs, so that other researchers can repeat your work and confirm it, you are not doing science.
